Job Title: Fluid Analyst

Location: Salem, Virginia

Shift: 1st

Starting Compensation Range: $21.56 - $27.10 per hour 

The Fluid Analyst is responsible for analyzing and registering fluid sample to assist with identifying pending component issues/concerns for customers and service areas.

Requirements for the Fluid Analyst position include:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess ability to operate, calibrate and maintain lab equipment
  • Demonstrated experience operating, calibrating and maintaining lab equipment, preferred
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to interact professionally with customers and all levels of personnel within the organization
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Promote a positive customer experience

Seeking Candidates with:

  • Previous experience operating, calibrating and maintaining lab equipment, preferred
  • High school diploma, required
  • Heavy Equipment knowledge, preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit and talk or hear
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus

Actual base pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. In addition to base pay, the compensation package may include participation in performance-based incentive programs (e.g., discretionary or non-discretionary plans), as well as overtime eligibility depending on the role.
