Summary

Join our dedicated team at WCS Healthcare Partners in New Haven, CT, where you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to oncology patients in a dynamic outpatient multispecialty clinic setting. This role offers a chance to work in a supportive environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs and provide guidance.
  • Manage in-basket tasks efficiently to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist healthcare providers during clinic visits for both new and returning patients.
  • Conduct pre-op/post-op and chemotherapy teaching sessions for patients and their families.
  • Provide comprehensive patient education, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Outpatient clinic and phone triage experience required.
  • Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are preferred.
  • Proficiency in using the Epic charting system.
  • Experience with adult patient age groups.
