About the Role
The Part-Time Warehouse and Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fresh floral products to customers across assigned local routes throughout Michigan. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and delivering a positive customer experience while also supporting warehouse operations.
What You'll Do
• Safely operate a company delivery van to complete assigned delivery routes
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of floral products to customers
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
• Load and unload products while maintaining product quality and organization
• Assist with pulling and packing flower orders for daily deliveries
• Inspect outgoing orders for accuracy and quality
• Deliver product from the warehouse to customer locations and unload flower boxes into customer coolers
• Return to the warehouse as needed to reload delivery vehicles and continue routes
• Assist in processing flowers and maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic operational readiness
• Follow assigned routes and use GPS/navigation tools to optimize efficiency
• Work in warehouse and cooler environments (34°F) using equipment such as pallet jacks, box cutters, and RF scanners
• Partner with warehouse team members to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment (approximately 34°F) and to lift, carry, and move products up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. The position also requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing in and out of a delivery van, and extended driving periods.
Compensation & Benefits (What's in it for you)
The expected pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
Please note: This is a part-time position and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
Other Information
• Onsite role based out of Novi, Michigan distribution facility
• Part-time schedule; 3 days per week, approximately 20-30 hours per week
• Monday through Friday availability required; schedule assigned based on employee availability and business needs
• Start time: 6:00 AM until route completion
• Local travel required throughout Michigan delivery areas
What You'll Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 2+ years of professional driving experience (delivery vans or commercial vehicles preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable driving record (reviewed periodically)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to safely lift and move products up to 25 pounds
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to effectively use GPS and navigation tools for route management
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach
• Ability to work in refrigerated warehouse environments
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
