We are seeking a Flow Control Technician to join our team in Winchester, IN. In this role, you will serve as a trusted ambassador for our company, performing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps and other rotating equipment. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable, responsive service. This is a full-time position, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. If you enjoy hands-on work and being outdoors, this is the opportunity for you.

The starting pay for this role will be based on experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform on-site service, installation, start-ups, and repairs of pumps and related rotating equipment.
  • Conduct evaluations, provide technical recommendations, and complete required company reports.
  • Use service software for communication, scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor with a focus on growing the sales and service business.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of the company vehicle and equipment.
  • Follow all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina, lifting, bending, etc.
  • Perform required inspection as directed per work instructions and quality checklist.
  • Operate at customer site locations using hand/power tools and office equipment such as laptops and smartphones.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed

What We Need From You:

  • High school diploma or GED (general education degree)
  • Valid insurable driver’s license required (clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years), Class A CDL not required but preferred
  • 2–3 years of field experience working with pumps or related equipment in a service-based environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical proficiency with proven problem-solving skills.
  • Able to use precision measuring tools (i.e. dial calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Proficiency aligning equipment using laser alignment and dial indicators, in addition to reading blueprints and drawings
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and collaboration skills with proven ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, management, and customers
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic with ability to work under minimal direction and supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Understand how to layout and fabricate piping systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations for working with hazardous chemicals, handling high pressure, and high temperature liquids
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • There may be times where overnight travel is required.
