Job description

Job Summary: The Janitor is responsible of keeping all departments clean and sanitary. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Required to clean all plant restrooms, being urinals, toilets, stall areas, and breakrooms to a high standard of cleanliness. The Facility will need constant attention during the day to maintain a high level of sanitary and cleanliness.

Garbage cans in all departments will need to be emptied daily, sometimes more than once. Replenish consumables as needed in all restrooms and breakrooms in each department, sometimes multiple times daily. Maintain a stock level of janitorial supplies needed to maintain the facility.

Perform cleaning tasks associated with coffee service areas. Check stock levels and report levels to the Manager for ordering on a regular basis. Driving of a Forklift is necessary to empty small dumpsters from around the plant daily into large dumpsters supplied by an outside contractor.

Forklift certification is necessary to perform some Janitorial duties. Must always follow safety procedures. .
