Asembly Technicians Level I, II, & III needed
Night Shift Position - Employees will receive a $2.00 per hour shift differential for all hours worked during the night shift.
We are seeking detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling a variety of agricultural equipment and machinery, ensuring that all components meet quality and safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient production of high-performance machinery that supports farmers and agricultural operations.
Job Duties Include:
  • Read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assemble both small and large mechanical assemblies with minimal direction.
  • Perform and build sub-assemblies (e.g., heads, engines) and complete entire assemblies independently.
  • Utilize basic hand tools and battery-powered impacts, along with specialty tools such as A/C and hose machines.
  • Demonstrate hardware knowledge, including the use of nuts, bolts, and washers.
  • Navigate and utilize the Parts Book (inventory catalog), Great Plains (GP), and internal Bill of Materials (BOM) to establish pick lists and manage inventory.
  • Read and implement hydraulic and electrical schematics, as well as hydraulic hose and electrical lists.
  • Troubleshoot fault codes and direct the assembly process while guiding and training fellow assembly technicians.
  • Develop, improve, and implement SOPs for the assembly process.
  • Become certified to operate A/C machines and CAT software programs as needed.
  • Conceptualize complex equipment and lead efforts to enhance assembly efficiency and accuracy.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work indoors or outdoors depending on the assignment. Indoor environment: cold, heat, dust, fumes, airborne particles, minimal to moderate noise levels, machinery, moving equipment. Outdoor environment: rain, extreme cold, wind, extreme heat, dust, moderate to loud noises, machinery, moving equipment.
  • Safety requirements: safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear, and gloves.
  • Additional protective equipment may be required depending on the task or job duty performed.
  • Fast-pace dynamic environment

Employees will receive a $2.00 per hour shift differential for all hours worked during the night shift.

Position Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of assembly and/or mechanic-related experience.
  • Must be able to pass assembly test.
  • Must be able to pass forklift certification test (as needed).

PREFERRED
  • Experience in any type of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic assembly.
  • Experience in Agricultural work.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • Forklift driving experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES
  • Regularly lift to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Regularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
  • Frequently lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, grasp, grip, walk, and stand.
  • Occasionally kneel, crawl, reach, climb, and sit.

$22 - $32 per hour

Founded in 1909 in Salida, California, Flory Industries has evolved from a family-run dairy and custom harvesting business into a global leader in agricultural machinery. With deep roots in innovation, Flory built its first bean harvester in the 1930s and introduced industry-changing nut sweepers in the 1970s. Today, Flory specializes in manufacturing on-ground and off-ground harvesting equipment for almonds, walnuts, pistachios, and other nut and stone fruit crops, along with flail mowers and vineyard tools.
In 2023, Flory Industries welcomed Coe Orchard Equipment to the family, becoming the nut-harvesting industry's first and only full-line manufacturer-providing both on-ground and off-ground solutions.
