Electrophysiologist
Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVICFL) | Ocala, Florida
Position Overview
Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVICFL) is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Ocala and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities with future opportunity to perform bread-and-butter EP procedures in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting.
Key responsibilities/services include:
  • Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, both standard and complex
  • Performance of routine and complex catheter ablations
  • Implantation and management of cardiac devices
  • Electrophysiology studies, intracardiac mapping, remote monitoring, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient EP care
  • Opportunities for watchman implantation and other electrophysiology-related structural heart procedures

EP procedures are performed at HCA West Marion Hospital and HCA Ocala Hospital utilizing advanced mapping and ablation technologies. The incoming physician will be supported by experienced APPs across both clinic and hospital settings.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, production incentives, additional incentives, sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and partnership/equity opportunities.

  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Electrophysiology training programs
