Job description

Looking for a Lead Floral Designer for The Centerpiece Floral and Home

Primary Focus: Product Execution and Floral Quality

Design and executive flower arrangements and responsible for ordering product

Floral Design

  • Design and execute all floral arrangements for:

    • Residential and commercial subscriptions through the Centerpiece Society Memberships

    • Everyday Flowers (fresh deliveries)

    • Special events and installations

  • Curate seasonal floral palettes and design language

  • Ensure consistency and integrity of floral aesthetics across all touch points

  • Lead floral innovation by exploring new formats, vessel sourcing, and bouquet structures

Studio & Production Oversight

  • Daily studio operations and floral workflow

  • Coordinate with suppliers for fresh product sourcing and inventory (blooms, vessels, materials)

  • Train studio assistants, floral processors, and freelance designers

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of floral production areas

Event Floral Execution

  • Design and produce all event floral components

  • Direct floral setup on-site for weddings, installations, and concierge occasions
    Coordinate with external event partners (venue, planners, vendors) as needed only for creative floral execution

Administrative Reporting:

  • Weekly Expense Summary (studio, floral supplies, delivery costs, etc.)

  • Revenue Overview (floral orders fulfilled, event billing status—provided by finance lead)

  • Current Bank Balance (with visibility into spending margins)

  • Attend and participate in weekly executive syncs for financial visibility and strategic forecasting

  • Reports weekly to Creative Director and Director of Operations
