Job description

1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. is looking for a Seasonal Floral Designer for their Philadelphia MDC.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Help maintain plants and dish gardens.
  • Keep cooler clean and organized.
  • Handle and process flowers as delivered to the facility.
  • Fulfill Floral design recipes as ordered.
  • Meet all company productivity and quality standards.
  • Assist in other areas as necessary.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of floral designer experience.
  • Bi-lingual, a plus.
  • Design experience is a must.
  • Must have good attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of design principles and techniques, as well as current trends in floral design.
  • Ability to work extra hours and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs, stand for long periods, and traverse stairs throughout the day and work in an overall physically demanding manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The expected salary range for this position is $17.00 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
