Retail Operations | Horticulture | Floral & Plant Design

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance to customers on plant care and product selection
  • Manage daily operations of the retail garden center
  • Ensure the care, health, and proper maintenance of all plant inventory
  • Oversee the design, execution, and ongoing maintenance of plant displays and merchandising layouts
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of 10 employees or more during peak season
  • Train staff on exceptional customer service and in-depth plant knowledge
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for staff and customers

Qualifications (Required)

  • Experience working in a nursery, greenhouse, farm, or garden center
  • Knowledge of plant identification, plant nutrition, and seasonal growing cycles
  • Physical capability to lift 25+ lbs. and perform prolonged standing or other physical tasks
