Job description

Nino Salvaggio is currently looking for a Floral Designer for our Bloomfield Township location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Confers with client/customer regarding price and type of arrangement desired while providing excellent customer service.
  • Design floral arrangements according to client/customer’s requirements.
  • Provide design expertise to other associates, as needed.
  • Pack and wrap completed arrangements.
  • Assist management with ordering product, supplies, etc. and ensuring proper inventory control to ensure freshness and product quality.
  • Prepare (un-box, cut and sleeve flowers) and maintain floral displays per department guidelines.
  • Maintains good communication within the department, in the store and throughout the organization.
  • Greets customers and provides them with prompt and courteous service and/or assistance, per our Company customer service standards. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • One year related floral design experience, required. 
  • Floral design certification, preferred.
  • Must be able to properly use all of the equipment in the department.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 or more hour periods.
  • Must be able to regularly bend, lift and/or move 25 pounds.
