Job description

Hardwood Flooring Estimator & Scheduler

KCV Holdings, LLC DBA Premier Hardwood Floors

Location: Work from home w/ travel to customers for estimates and pre and post job completion
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $48,000–$52,000 per year (based on experience)

We are a well-established, family-oriented hardwood flooring company serving the Greater Cincinnati area. We take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with customers, managing projects, and helping keep jobs running smoothly from estimate to installation.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with residential and commercial customers to measure spaces and prepare accurate flooring estimates.
  • Recommend hardwood flooring products, finishes, and installation options based on customer needs.
  • Create professional proposals and follow up to close sales.
  • Schedule installations while coordinating crews, materials, and customer expectations.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the project to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Order materials and verify product availability.
  • Maintain accurate job records using company software.
  • Work closely with installers to resolve scheduling or job-site issues.
  • Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Previous estimating, flooring, construction, remodeling, or home improvement experience preferred.
  • Strong math and measurement skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and estimating software (experience with flooring software is a plus).
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings is a plus.
