SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Installer/Installer's Assistant is responsible for assisting in job construction including cabinet installation, cabinet refacing, flooring, and/or tile work, managing field labor and materials, job site safety, and accurately tracking on time and finish quality. These duties and necessary functions whether construction or demolition are to be performed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner to meet our customer's expectations and provide excellent customer service. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:
  1. Review Engineering specs and make sure job flow is in order.
  2. Work independently or directly as a team leader with hired subcontractors to complete tasks within a specified time frame and to meet Kitchen Solvers' quality and customer service expectations.
  3. Ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, material, and labor are available to keep the job running smoothly. 
  4. Walk through final punch list with the customer to ensure the job site is completely finished, cleaned up and the customer is satisfied with the job.
  5. Accurately track time daily.
  6. Have 100% safety standards on all job sites.
  7. Roll out and put away tools, cords, and materials daily on each work site. 
  8. Clean up all areas affected by the installation and perform maintenance on all Company tools and equipment used daily on work sites. Ensure all debris is loaded into a dump truck or waste collection unit.
  9. Secure and lock up tools, equipment, and site at the end of the workday.
  10. Perform other duties that may be assigned.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 
  • 1-3 years experience preferred as a carpenter or related field
  • High School degree or equivalent 
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a customer service-related industry and basic carpentry skills
  • Computer skills, with knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs.
  • Proficient use of all tools per mid-level Carpenter requirements. 
    • Router, chop saw, finish carpentry tools
    • Layout with laser for level, square, and grades
    • Cabinetry installation
    • Refacing Installation
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment 
  • Clean DMV record and valid Driver’s license 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that positively benefit interaction with other team members and homeowners/clients.
