Job Summary 

At Diverzify+ and our Family of Brands, our Infrastructure Engineer - Distributed & Cloud Systems is responsible for supporting, securing, maintaining, and improving Diverzify's technology infrastructure across a distributed, multi-site environment. This role supports on-premises and cloud-based systems, Microsoft 365 services, identity platforms, endpoints, networking, monitoring, automation, mobile device management, and business-critical infrastructure services. This position helps ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology operations by partnering with IT team members, site leaders, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners. The successful candidate will bring strong technical judgment, disciplined execution, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to balance standardization with practical business needs. 

Requirements

Job Responsibilities 

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Support, maintain, and improve Diverzify's distributed infrastructure environment, including servers, cloud services, endpoints, networking, monitoring, and collaboration platforms. 
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, site initiatives, system deployments, lifecycle upgrades, standardization efforts, and technology modernization activities. 
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, assist with root-cause analysis, and support operational resiliency across business-critical systems. 
  • Follow established change management, cybersecurity, compliance, documentation, and operational support procedures. 
  • Apply key cybersecurity principles, including least privilege, defense in depth, secure configuration, patch management, vulnerability remediation, access control, logging, monitoring, and incident response support. 
  • Administer, support, and improve mobile device management tools and related endpoint management processes for company-owned and managed devices. 
  • Install, configure, patch, administer, migrate, and decommission infrastructure components in accordance with business and security requirements. 
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to Diverzify personnel, site leaders, and IT team members. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledgebase articles, procedures, diagrams, and support materials. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered. 
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, systems engineering, cloud services, networking, endpoint management, or related technology operations. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows Server, endpoint management, mobile device management, networking fundamentals, monitoring tools, and infrastructure security practices. 
  • Experience with incident response, change management, documentation, service request fulfillment, and IT operational support processes. 
  • Understanding of key information security principles and the ability to support secure infrastructure operations, including access management, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, logging, monitoring, and change control. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting distributed, multi-site business environments. 
  • Experience with PowerShell, scripting, automation, infrastructure as code concepts, or configuration management tools. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Azure Monitor, or similar endpoint, security, and monitoring platforms. 
  • Experience administering Microsoft Intune, mobile device management, mobile application management, device compliance policies, conditional access, or related endpoint governance tools. 
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, cybersecurity controls, disaster recovery, business continuity, and vendor-supported infrastructure services.

Working Conditions

  • While much of this work may be performed remotely, occasional onsite work may be required at Diverzify locations 
  • Occasional travel may be required to various branch, office, warehouse, or operational sites as needed 
  • Night and weekend work will be required for implementations or major incident support
