The Sales Position:
The design position is without question the most rewarding job in the company. The pay is good, the hours are flexible, and you are able to help people reimagine and transform their home with the latest flooring trends from the top manufacturers. As a Floor Coverings International Design Associate, you will meet with homeowners and assess their flooring needs and wants. Once the goals of the project are understood, you will recommend and sell the flooring solution that best fits their needs and their budget.

People who excel at creating an exceptional customer experience are prime candidates for success in this role, no matter what their background is. No prior of flooring or design is necessary.
The Typical Day for a an Outside Sales Associate:
Our design associates meet with a home owners in their home, tells them about our company, shows flooring samples, provides estimates, closes the sale & submits the paper work. Every day is someone new with a new product/service request. The mobile showroom has 3000+ samples that we choose from to best accommodate the best sampling for our clients. We want to bring them excellent customer experience right in their own home.
The Pay:
Full-time design associates earn a base pay between $60,000 - $80,000, with commission above this level; our high performers earning $80,000-$120,000+ depending on effort and ability. Pay is results-based so there is no upper limit to what can be earned. Bonus opportunities as well.
