ESSENTIAL DUTIES in the Produce Department (Produce Clerk) (responsibilities include, but are not limited to):

Stocking and unpacking Produce

Setting up and maintaining the condition of the Produce Department according to company standards

Ensures produce is handled, stocked, rotated and merchandised

Checks product area temperature to ensure freshness and quality

Processing and/or wrapping produce items prior to filling designated areas

Cutting, labeling, and wrapping produce

Operating pallet jack, scissor lift, baler, compactor and scrub machine

Maintaining cleanliness of the store/ store upkeep

Must clean and sanitize work areas

Work Environment will be in extreme temperature

Customer Service:

Providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions

Engaging in suggestive selling and other sales techniques

Meets or exceeds Department's sales goals assigned through the efficient execution of Company policies and procedures

Maintains cleanliness of work area, storage area, and selling floor

Ensures a safe and clean work environment

Cross Training
