What YOU Will Do:


We're looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Inventory Coordinator to join our operations team. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our inventory accurate, organized, and moving efficiently to support production and customer fulfillment.

You'll work closely with teams across supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, and finance, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both analytical work and active warehouse involvement.


What YOU Need to Succeed:


Keep Inventory Accurate & Reliable

  • Maintain and reconcile inventory records using ERP/WMS systems
  • Perform regular cycle counts (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and resolve discrepancies
  • Investigate shortages, variances, and system issues

Support Production & Materials Flow

  • Create work orders and issue materials based on ERP pick lists
  • Kit components to support assembly and production
  • Ensure materials are available and delivered on time

Own Shipping & Receiving Activities

  • Coordinate picking, packing, and shipping of outgoing orders
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, or shortages
  • Package products using proper materials and methods
  • Safely operate hand trucks and warehouse equipment

Analyze & Plan Inventory

  • Track usage trends and seasonal demand patterns
  • Help forecast stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock

Maintain a Safe & Organized Warehouse

  • Keep warehouse areas clean, labeled, and compliant with safety standards
  • Follow and help improve inventory and operational processes
  • Support overall warehouse organization and housekeeping

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, finance, and operations
  • Help   reconcile inventory variances and improve accuracy
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

Work Environment

  • Split between two locations: 
    • Pittsburgh, PA (ST Engineering/Aethon)
    • Oakdale, PA warehouse (~35 minutes away)
  • Active role involving walking, lifting, and hands-on coordination

Requirements

 Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain roles 
  • Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Comfortable working both on a computer and on the warehouse floor 
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely 
  • Willingness to cross-train in shipping and receiving (required) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus

Inventory accuracy consistently meets or exceeds target thresholds (e.g., 98-100%) Cycle counts and audits are completed on time with minimal discrepancies Production / Service teams receive materials on schedule with no delays due to inventory issues Shipping and receiving operations run smoothly with high accuracy and minimal errors Inventory variances are quickly identified, investigated, and resolved ERP transactions are completed accurately and in real time Warehouse spaces remain clean, organized, and audit-ready Strong cross-functional relationships result in better coordination and fewer issues Proactive identification of process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
