Floor Directors are professionals who coordinate activities on the studio floor during television, film, or live event productions. They act as a key link between the control room and the crew or talent on set, relaying instructions from the director and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Floor Directors manage timing cues, oversee set changes, and help maintain order and safety on the studio floor.
