POSITION SUMMARY

The Relationship Banker promotes and cross-sells bank products and services to new and existing customers to meet their needs and the bank’s growth objectives. Must be fully trained and maintain continuous knowledge of the functions of both teller and banker roles. Bilingual (English/Spanish) - fluency verbal and written required. Must be able and willing to work from any of our four branch locations in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Will be based at our Como branch in St. Paul.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Promotes, counsels, cross-sells and provides maintenance services to new and existing consumer and business customers to meet their needs.
  • Complete application process and other required paperwork for new accounts
  • Provides positive customer satisfaction by proactively assisting with account questions and resolving issues.
  • Effectively handles customer inquiries by phone or in person, resolving questions, complaints and conducts account research.
  • Provides additional services as needed or assigned.
  • Safe Act Certification required (NMLS).
  • Cross training of teller line duties required.
  • Provides coverage at any branch as needed.
  • Promotes and sells various loan products by interviewing customers to determine their needs.
  • Collects past due loans under assigned responsibility code as necessary to minimize loan loss.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • High school or GED required.
    • College degree in business related field preferred.
    • Two (2) years' customer service experience preferred.
    • Experience in the financial industry preferred.
    • Solid skill set in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook and Teams.
    • A comprehensive service and sales skill set preferred.
    • A comprehensive skills set in Fiserv application(s) preferred.
    • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with AI tools and maintains an open, curious approach to emerging technologies.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    Annualized salary range is between $42,108 - $60,154 - $78,200 depending on experience and qualifications.
