Your future role at a glance

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic

Department: Float Pool Staffing

Schedule: Must be available during the hours of 7A-7P Monday-Friday | 40 hour work week | floating to all locations in greater North Indianapolis Region | Weekends optional if there is a need.

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms.
  • Streamline clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories in patient charts.
  • Transcribe provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision.
  • Manage essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management to ensure seamless clinic daily operations.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
