Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Pay Rate: $1900 to $2016/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts 

Total Working Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Pediatric Critical Care Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role provides advanced respiratory care for pediatric patients across the PICU, NICU, Emergency Department, and general pediatric units. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and be comfortable floating between units to support patient care needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services for pediatric patients in PICU, NICU, ED, and inpatient care areas.

  • Perform respiratory assessments, ventilator management, airway care, and therapeutic interventions.

  • Monitor patient progress and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR while adhering to clinical and regulatory standards.

  • Float between assigned units as needed while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care.

Requirements
  • Active Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License required.

  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience with extensive PICU, NICU, and ED experience required.

  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.

  • Level I Trauma experience highly preferred.

  • Must be available for 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, floating assignments, and comply with the mandatory flu vaccination policy.
