Homes for Independent Living, a MyPath company, provides an array of service models in a variety of residential settings. We support people through individualized service plans that range from high personal care needs to those who present complex behavioral challenges. HIL is looking for a Direct Support Professional - Float (DSP - Float) to join our team. A DSP - Float provides direct care support services for clients across a regional area in order to maximize the individual's potential. Following Individual Service Plans and Behavioral Support Plans, a DSP - Float is focused on providing services that enhance the overall health, safety, and welfare of their clients.
As a Direct Support Professional - Float, you will:
• Work in a variety of programs within a regional area
• Interact with clients assisting with day to day tasks
• Engage in fun activities with clients
• Health monitoring and medication administration
• Meal preparation in accordance to dietary guidelines
• Light housekeeping
• Assist with personal cares as needed
• Redirect client behaviors

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Personal vehicle with proof of insurance
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's license for the past 3 years
• Ability to work a variety of shifts
• Communication & Problem-Solving skills
• Successful completion of a caregiver background check, TB test and Health Scree
