Satellite Systems Platform Engineer
Aversan Inc.(www.aversan.com) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Satellite Systems Platform Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing RF and Electrical system design, performance analysis, implementation and testing in support of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) or Telecommunication satellite related to Telemetry, Command and Ranging, Bus Power & Thermal and Attitude Control Systems.

Working Arrangement: HybridResponsibilities
  • Provide systems engineering support for satellite platforms and payload subsystems, including TCR, CD&H, TCS, ADCS, power, propulsion, flight software, and RF performance.
  • Support or lead payload and platform design activities, mission analysis, and system architecture development.
  • Monitor and collaborate with platform teams, subcontractors, and integrated product teams, including coordination with partner facilities.
  • Participate in electrical and RF system performance evaluations and prepare engineering documentation such as system requirements, specifications, design descriptions, and verification matrices.
  • Perform system analyses and support program reviews (EQSR, SRR, PDR, CDR).
  • Support satellite assembly, integration, and testing (AIT), including test supervision, EGSE operations, and data analysis.
  • Assist with satellite testing at internal, partner, or supplier facilities and support in-orbit testing (IOT).
  • Contribute to subcontractor monitoring, harness design, payload/platform layout, and preparation of subsystem operations manuals.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with design and integration/testing of GEO or LEO satellite systems.
  • Understanding of space environment, orbit mechanics, and aerospace systems engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience with satellite subsystem testing, RF systems testing, and qualification/acceptance testing.
  • Ability to lead systems integration activities and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience with modeling, simulation tools, and system analysis methods.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and lead technical teams.
  • Proficiency in French and English in a professional environment.
