LE POSTE
Pour l’un de nos clients, nous recherchons un(e) Spécialiste Fly By Wire (FBW) and Secondary Flight Control.
VOS MISSIONS
  • Intégrer le système de commandes de vol secondaire et électriques dans l'avion.
  • Supporter le développement des concepts, une approche de conception et une philosophie avec le fournisseur du système de commandes de vols.
  • Effectuer / revoir l'analyse pour évaluer la faisabilité des concepts.
  • Développer, valider et vérifier les exigences techniques du système de contrôle de vol.
    • Examiner / préparer les exigences techniques
    • Examiner / préparer les procédures de test
    • Exécuter des essais sur bon de tests et / ou sur d'avion
    • Examiner / préparer des rapports d'essais à l'appui des activités de certification
  • Résoudre les problèmes liés aux avions en service.
    • Investigation, identification du problème, définition et implémentation des actions correctives
  • Assurer la conformité au processus de développement ARP4754
  • Supporter des études comparatives et des analyses de coûts du cycle de vie pour les futurs programmes
  • Assurer que le processus de conception et de mise en œuvre de l'équipement qui en résulte soit conforme aux exigences et aux normes du client.

VOTRE PROFIL
  • Vous êtes titulaire d'un baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou génie aérospatial (ou équivalent) et vous avez au moins 7 ans d'expérience dans un domaine lié à l'aérospatiale.
  • Vous avez été directement impliqué dans la définition et la certification d'au moins un système de commande de vol secondaire et/ou électrique.
  • Le candidat doit posséder une bonne compréhension de toutes les facettes de la définition, de l'intégration et de la certification des systèmes et avoir une connaissance des systèmes et des interfaces des aéronefs (p. Ex. Électrique, hydraulique, avionique, pilote automatique).
  • Vous avez une connaissance du processus de certification de la partie 25.
  • Expérience en modélisation et simulation dynamique de commandes de vol actionneurs électriques et hydrauliques est un atout.
  • Vous avez une connaissance pratique de l'environnement de simulation MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow.
  • Une certaine connaissance d'autres environnements de simulation tels qu'ADAMS ou d'outils de conception tels que CATIA serait un atout.
  • Une bonne connaissance de MS Office et des outils de gestion des exigences est un atout.
  • Compétences générales:
    • Vous avez d'excellentes capacités de présentation orale en français et en anglais.
    • Une excellente capacité de rédaction technique en anglais est requise (le français est un atout).
    • Vous avez la capacité de travailler avec une supervision limitée, être organisé, un esprit d'équipe et une personne motivée, être axé sur le client et être capable de travailler sous pression.
    • Vous devez également faire preuve d'initiative, d'innovation, un sens aigu des responsabilités et de l'intégrité, l'adaptabilité, avoir de bonnes compétences en communication interpersonnelle, avoir un bon jugement d'ingénierie et rechercher des résultats.

CONDITIONS D'EMPLOI
  • Position sur site client à Dorval. 
  • Position hybride, 2-3 jours sur site
  • Poste permanent ou à contrat (minimum 1 an de mandat)
  • Voyages occasionnels dans les installations des fournisseurs et les autorités de Certification, ainsi qu'un soutien sur place à la chaîne d'assemblage final (Toronto et Montréal), centre de finitions (Montréal), Centre d’essais en vol (Wichita).

THE ROLE
For one of our customer we are looking for a FBW & Secondary Flight Control Specialist.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Perform the integration of the FBW & Secondary Flight Controls system on the aircraft.
  • Support the development of concepts, design approach and philosophy with the Flight Control system supplier.
  • Perform/Review analysis to evaluate concepts feasibility.
  • Develop, validate and verify technical requirements of the Flight Control System.
    • Review/Prepare technical requirements
    • Review/Prepare test procedures
    • Execute test rig and/or aircraft testing
    • Review/Prepare test reports in support of certification activities
  • Resolve problems arising from in-service aircraft.
    • Troubleshooting, root cause determination, corrective action definition and execution
  • Ensure compliance to the ARP4754 development process.
  • Support trade off studies and life cycle cost analysis for future programs.
  • Ensure the design process and the resulting equipment implementation is in line with 's requirements and standards.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in aerospace related field.
  • You have been directly involved in the definition and certification of at least one FBW and/or Secondary Flight Control system.
  • You possess a good understanding of all facets of system definition, integration, and certification and have a knowledge of aircraft systems and interfaces (e.g., electrical, hydraulic, avionics, auto-flight).
  • You have knowledge of Part 25 certification process.
  • Experience in modeling and dynamic simulation of flight controls electrical and hydraulic actuators is an asset.
  • You have a working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow simulation environment.
  • Some familiarity with other simulation environments such as ADAMS, or design tools such as CATIA would be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Requirements Management tools is an asset.
  • Soft skills:
    • Excellent oral presentation in English and French.
    • Technical writing skills in English are required (French is an asset).
    • You have the ability to work with limited supervision, be organized, a team player, and a self-motivated person, be Customer focused, and be able to work under pressure.
    • You must also show initiative, innovation, a strong sense of responsibility and integrity, adaptability, have good interpersonal communication skills, have a good engineering judgement, and drive for results.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
  • Position located on the client site in Dorval.
  • Hybrid role: 2–3 days on site.
  • Permanent position or contract (minimum 1-year assignment).
  • Occasional trips to the Suppliers facilities and Regulatory Authorities, as well as on-site support to the Final Assembly Line (Toronto & Montreal), Completion Centers (Montreal), Flight Test Center (Wichita).
