About the Role
CrossFire Group is looking for an experienced recruiting leader to oversee team execution, accountability, and recruiting performance within a fast-paced staffing environment.
This is a true player/coach role. You will lead a team of recruiters while also maintaining personal recruiting production. We are looking for someone who has experience driving performance, managing accountability, and operating in a metrics-driven recruiting environment.
This is not an entry-level leadership opportunity. The ideal candidate will bring either:
• 7+ years of recruiting experience within staffing or agency recruiting
OR
• 5+ years of direct people management experience in a performance-driven environment
Candidates should be comfortable leading from the front, having direct conversations, coaching performance issues, and creating structure within a team.
What You’ll Do
• Lead, manage, and hold a team of recruiters accountable to weekly KPIs and performance expectations
• Maintain personal recruiting production including sourcing, outreach, screening, and submittals
• Drive consistency across recruiting activity, pipeline management, and execution
• Monitor team performance metrics including activities, interviews, submittals, starts, and contractor headcount
• Coach recruiters through performance gaps and improve execution through direct feedback
• Delegate workload and prioritize team resources based on business demand
• Support account management and client communication as needed
• Partner closely with leadership on team performance, hiring strategy, and operational execution
• Build a culture of accountability, urgency, and follow-through
What We’re Looking For
• 7+ years of recruiting experience OR 5+ years of management experience required
• Prior leadership experience within staffing, recruiting, sales, operations, or other metrics-driven environments strongly preferred
• Experience managing performance metrics and holding teams accountable to results
• Strong communication skills with the ability to be direct, clear, and solution-oriented
• Comfortable navigating difficult conversations and performance management
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and execution skills
• Ability to balance leadership responsibilities while maintaining individual production
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and high expectations
