Flight Operations Generalist (Mid-Level & Senior)

Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking several highly qualified Flight Operations Generalists to join our Flight Operations - Military Programs team to be located in Berkeley, MO or Seattle, WA. These positions will play a key role in the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of flight operations activities across Boeing's military portfolio, including C-17, KC-46, F-15, and other critical programs
The selected candidates will provide program-level support with a strong emphasis on control account management, metrics tracking, performance reporting, and cross-functional coordination. These roles require individuals who can operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while supporting operational readiness, program visibility, and accurate execution of flight operations deliverables.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in EVM, PMP, or similar project/program management disciplines and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, support leadership reporting requirements, and maintain disciplined program controls. These positions are best suited for professionals with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a working knowledge of aerospace or defense program environments. The ideal candidate will also exhibit a high degree of interpersonal "soft skills" and well-demonstrated emotional intelligence
These positions will report directly to the BT&E Operations Support Manager - Military Programs.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level & Senior Flight Operations Generalists.
Position Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor control account data, including scope, schedule, cost, and performance metrics
  • Serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) and/or Control Account Assistant in support of BT&E Flight Operations - Military Programs
  • Track, analyze, and report program status, deliverables, milestones, and reportables across multiple military aircraft programs
  • Support execution of flight operations activities for programs including C-17, KC-46, F-15, and other major contracts
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, presentations, and briefings for management, stakeholders, and program reviews
  • Coordinate across engineering, operations, finance, planning, and program management teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and priorities
  • Assist in identifying risks, issues, and opportunities that may impact program execution, schedule, or resource planning
  • Support Earned Value Management processes, including data collection, analysis, and reporting as applicable to the assigned role
  • Ensure data accuracy, traceability, and timely communication of program performance information
  • Help maintain compliance with Boeing program processes, internal controls, and reporting standards
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reporting quality, and execution discipline
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned in support of Flight Operations leadership and program objectives

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • The position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
  • Experience with Program Management, project management and /or Business Operations
  • Experience analyzing data and developing metrics to track performance to plan for a business/organization
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience supporting military aviation, flight operations, test and evaluation, or aerospace/defense programs
  • Prior experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or Control Account Assistant
  • Familiarity with Boeing programs and processes, especially in a flight operations or program management environment
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and reporting
  • Experience preparing metrics packages, leadership briefings, status reports, or integrated program reviews
  • Ability to analyze schedule, cost, and performance data to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Experience collaborating across large, matrixed organizations with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining strong team partnership and accountability
  • Familiarity with program tools and reporting systems used for tracking execution and performance
  • Prior experience supporting one or more of the following programs or similar platforms: C-17, KC-46, F-15, F/A-18
