Job description

We’re partnering with a prominent, mission-driven nonprofit organization on the search for a hands-on Chief of Staff to support its leader and help oversee the organization’s day-to-day operations.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of executive support, operations, research, and external engagement. The role offers significant exposure to influential business and community leaders while supporting initiatives that have a meaningful impact on San Francisco.

Highlights:

• $150K–$250K all-in, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate

• High-visibility role working closely with the organization’s leader

• Broad scope across writing, research, budgeting, governance, events, and operations

• Exposure to prominent business and community leaders

• Flexible hybrid schedule with in-person collaboration a few times per week

• Lean team with significant ownership and responsibility

Looking for:

• A smart, hands-on Chief of Staff, senior EA, or operations professional

• Corporate experience required; nonprofit or political experience is a plus

• Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills

• Polished executive presence and confidence around senior stakeholders

• Someone easygoing, adaptable, low ego, and receptive to feedback

• Strong academic background from a top university; master’s degree or MBA is a plus

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can move seamlessly between high-level priorities and hands-on execution while serving as a trusted partner to an accomplished leader.
