Job description

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Quality Inspector
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
PAY RATE: $53.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Performs complex pre-flight inspection of aircraft systems and components for conformance to operational and safety standards.

  • Completes advanced pre-flight and post-flight checks through thorough inspection of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems.

  • Identifies issues or nonconformances affecting flight readiness and identifies resolutions for complex matters.

  • Rechecks work after complex maintenance or repair to ensure airworthiness.

  • Prepares aircraft for flight and Airworthiness Certification.

  • Maintains inspection logs and writes advanced inspection reports.

  • Applies knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems for pre-flight and post-flight inspections.

  • Ensures aircraft systems meet operational and safety standards for flight readiness.

  • Documents inspection results and maintenance actions per regulatory requirements.

  • Identifies and resolves complex aircraft system issues affecting flight readiness.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Experience performing complex pre-flight inspection of aircraft systems and components.

  • Experience completing advanced pre-flight and post-flight checks on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems.

  • Ability to identify issues or nonconformances affecting flight readiness and resolve complex matters.

  • Experience rechecking work after complex maintenance or repair.

  • Experience preparing aircraft for flight and Airworthiness Certification.

  • Experience maintaining inspection logs and writing advanced inspection reports.

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics system inspection techniques.

  • Ability to ensure aircraft systems meet operational and safety standards.

  • Experience documenting inspection results and maintenance actions per regulatory requirements.
