Job description

CORRUGATED FLEXO FOLDER GLUER OPERATOR – 1ST SHIFT

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

We are looking for an experienced Corrugated Flexo Folder Gluer Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and setting up Flexo Folder Gluer equipment in a corrugated box manufacturing environment.

We are looking for someone who can confidently set up and run the machine, maintain quality and production standards, troubleshoot problems, and keep production moving efficiently.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate Flexo Folder Gluer equipment according to job specifications.
  • Perform machine make-readies and changeovers.
  • Set up and adjust print sections, scoring, slotting, folding, gluing, and stacking systems.
  • Monitor machine operation and make adjustments throughout production runs.
  • Inspect finished product to ensure boxes meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain proper print registration, scoring, folding, slotting, and glue application.
  • Troubleshoot machine and production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain production speed while minimizing waste and scrap.
  • Read and understand job tickets, drawings, and production specifications.
  • Complete required production and quality paperwork.
  • Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work closely with machine helpers and other production employees.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–5+ years of Flexo Folder Gluer experience preferred.
  • Corrugated box manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with machine setup and changeovers.
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets and box specifications.
  • Ability to use a tape measure and other basic measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

Saturday Overtime: 5:00 AM–11:00 AM

Saturday work provides an opportunity for additional overtime hours.
