Description
Jackson Heart Study Graduate Training and Education Center is accepting applications for its Recruiter Web Manager position.
This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of web-based/recruitment resources and digital communications for the Graduate Training and Education Center. It supports the dissemination of program information, scholar achievements, and center activities through effective website management and data presentation.
Examples of Duties
  • Develop, update, maintain, and enhance the GTEC website to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging content.
  • Manage and maintain web-related materials, including program information, scholar profiles, announcements, events, publications, and other center activities.
  • Work closely with the PI, investigators, and staff to coordinate GTEC activities and support its mission and objectives.
  • Assist with scholar recruitment efforts by developing and maintaining web-based promotional and informational materials.
  • Collect, organize, and present GTEC/scholar-related data through website content, reports, and other digital platforms.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings and program activities to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, progress reports, presentations, and other programmatic documents, particularly those related to website analytics, dissemination activities, and program outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain website linkages to research projects, manuscript proposals, JHS resources, and relevant databases to support research, training, and educational activities.
  • Monitor website performance and functionality, ensuring compliance with university policies, accessibility standards, and best practices in web design and content management.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in support of the GTEC goals and objectives.

Typical Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a health-related field, public health, higher education administration, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a higher education environment, preferably within an institutional research, assessment, evaluation, or data management office, utilizing student data and related information systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in web development, website management, and the administration of web-based platforms/databases.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and fact-finding skills, with exceptional attention to detail and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, present information, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including extensive experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, and other productivity applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work both independently/collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
