Lazega amp; Johanson LLC is a boutique law firm specializing in the representation of community associations throughout Georgia. We are seeking a Creditor's Rights Attorney with two to three years’ experience to add to our community association collection practice in West Midtown Atlanta. Our collection associates represent community associations in the collection of unpaid assessments. With the support of our experienced collection team, the collection associate will handle a vast array of collection matters from pre-litigation to litigation to garnishments and foreclosure sales.
Responsibilities
  • Managing a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases
  • Drafting pleadings
  • Reviewing accounting breakdowns for unpaid assessments
  • Managing court and client deadlines
  • Preparing and attending for court hearings
  • Communicating and building strong client relationships
  • Networking with clients and other industry professionals
  • Working with an experienced support team
  • Advising clients on litigation and post-judgment collection
Experience in collections and general civil litigation is preferred.
