Overview
As a Hair Stylist you are responsible for performing professional cuts, styles, chemical services and therapeutic hair and scalp treatments. Responsibilities
The Hair Stylist's typical job functions include:
  • Providing consistent professional hair treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
  • Being on time for your shift and prompt with each appointment, performing services within appropriate times allotted for service
  • Being flexible with your schedule to better support the needs of the spa
  • Properly caring for equipment and using proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
  • Having complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas
  • Actively promoting home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals
  • Upholding the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures
  • Performing prep work and properly cleaning and restocking work area as required
  • Communicating to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa or salon that require attention
  • Actively promoting the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
  • Handling guest's questions and concerns professionally and courteously
  • Providing accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction
  • Possessing ability to work without direct supervision
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and contribution toward a quality work environment
  • Regularly attending, participating in and supporting training and staff meetings for the spa
  • Assisting in all areas of spa operation as requested by management

Qualifications
This position may be for you if:
