Job description

Registered Nurse I

The Registered Nurse I assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies/procedures for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating patient functional status. Use the full nursing process to manage patient care. Assess, organize, and deliver age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care. Document all steps of the nursing process using proper medical terminology. Evaluate patient problems and progress toward goals. Support patient discharge through referrals and education. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. Participate in unit and hospital performance improvement (PI) and educational activities. Attend in-services and meet education standards. Exercise independent judgment in planning and carrying out clinical tasks. Work directly with patients, families, and internal team members.

Requirements:

  • Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
  • BLS
  • Less than 1 year experience
  • Minimum Education - Associate's Degree

Compensation

  • USD $62,056 to $96,203
