Work Environment

As a telehealth provider, Solace Health Services offers a flexible work-from-home setting that prioritizes work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients through various telecommunication platforms, ensuring high-quality service in a digital space. Depending on client needs, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required, but the core working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and goals.
• Design, implement, and oversee evidence-based treatment plans that are customized to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing appropriate therapeutic interventions, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participating in regular case conferences, to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records that comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including clinical supervision and specialized training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide array of mental health issues. This role will involve working with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, mood disorders, substance use issues, and the impacts of trauma. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their emotional struggles through tailored therapies that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Florida.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy within a mental health setting.
• Proficient in applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport effectively with clients from varied cultural contexts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to maintain clear documentation and engage with clients.
• A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth counseling is a strong plus, with familiarity in using telecommunication platforms or systems.
• Specialization in particular areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or family therapy.
• Experience working with a diverse clientele, understanding cultural sensitivities in mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits
