• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to relevant regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular collaboration with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training, to stay current with the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

This role predominantly involves working with individuals and families who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will play a vital role in empowering clients to overcome obstacles, enhance coping skills, and achieve their personal goals for emotional health.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technology for documentation and client management.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management.

The Neurocognitive Mental Health Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
