Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, establishing therapeutic needs through detailed interviews and standardized assessments.
• Develop tailored therapy plans that address the unique needs of each client, employing evidence-based practices in both individual and group settings.
• Implement regular therapeutic sessions aimed at guiding clients toward their desired health outcomes, equipping them with coping strategies and tools for resilience.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care and facilitate referrals when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health therapies and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at One Meditation Counseling Center, you will work primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction. We serve a diverse client base, reflecting the cultural richness of Murfreesboro and surrounding areas. Our approach is to honor each client's unique background, providing culturally responsive therapy that respects and integrates their personal histories and values.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license (LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, LCSW) issued by the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, with demonstrable expertise in diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Strong familiarity with mental health disorders and established evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a variety of clients from different backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and commitment to maintaining accurate client documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in delivering telehealth services and adapting therapeutic techniques to virtual settings.
• Previous work with populations experiencing substance use disorders, trauma, or crises.
• Educational experiences that promote cultural competence and sensitivity in counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
