You’ll partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while helping create a culture of continuous improvement throughout the facility. If you enjoy identifying root causes, eliminating waste, improving production flow, and making measurable operational impact, this role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career in manufacturing engineering.

This position is part of the Production Engineering team located in Fort Collins, Colorado and will be onsite. In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Supporting production operations by identifying and resolving manufacturing, quality, and material-related issues that impact output.
  • Leading root cause investigations and implementing sustainable corrective actions that improve long‑term process performance.
  • Designing and improving production cells, fixtures, and manufacturing workflows to increase reliability and throughput.
  • Partnering with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to eliminate waste and improve manufacturing performance.
  • Supporting Material Review Board (MRB) activities and defect reduction initiatives.
  • Managing equipment calibration activities to ensure consistent product quality and measurement accuracy.
  • Contributing to productivity and gross margin improvement projects that reduce manufacturing costs and improve operational results.

  • 4+ years of experience solving manufacturing, production, or product‑related problems within a cross‑functional environment.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and root cause analysis methodologies in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing manufacturing data and implementing corrective actions that improve process performance.
  • Experience supporting production operations, manufacturing processes, or production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Nice to Have
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience facilitating Kaizen events and value stream mapping activities.
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
  • Experience supporting MRB processes and quality management systems.
  • Experience with fixture design, production cell design, or manufacturing tooling.
  • Exposure to calibration systems and manufacturing test equipment.
