In this role, you will guide a team of technical project managers responsible for tailoring localization for global software releases and driving support for international features. Partnering closely with engineering, translation, and QA teams, you'll make sure Apple products feel as if they were designed specifically for every culture and market...We're looking for a hands-on leader with proven experience managing highly technical software projects, exceptional communication and influence skills, and extraordinary attention to detail. - Lead a diverse team of project managers responsible for localizing Apple software releases- Define goals, set priorities, and inspire experienced project managers to deliver their best work- Own the overall localization quality of each release and act as a champion for international issues- Partner with teams around the world to schedule engineering, translation, and QA resources aligned with product schedules- Drive the prioritization and resolution of localizability issues across software engineering- Evangelize localization considerations across the company to ensure products are designed with international customers in mind- Define and drive localization process and tool improvements that increase quality, improve turnaround times, and reduce costs- Scale localization systems and workflows to support global product launches at Apple's pace and scale
