How you'll make an impact

Copywriters play a key role in content development across all media, including digital and print deliverables, collaborating with Creative Director and brand marketing team from initial concept through completion/delivery. Primarily focused on exploring, developing, and producing innovative ideas appropriate to the marketing strategy, role incumbents will drive the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communications. Key Responsibilities include: consulting with management to determine marketing strategies; conducting market research as it applies to writing copy relating to company products; writing headlines, long form copy, promotional copy, scripts, web copy, content strategy; social media content creation and all related copywriting; developing a clear and consistent brand voice; reviewing and editing all copy for clarity and proper grammar and punctuation; and working closely with department and division members to coordinate deliverables with Project Managers. Further accountable for: analyzing trends and monitoring competitive advertising; determining most effective format to use for various communications projects; and providing recommendations on marketing programs to management. Collaborates with graphic design team on campaign concept development. May provide guidance to lower level staff, but has no formal supervisory responsibility.


About You

Required: Bachelor's degree; Minimum 5 years Copywriting experience. Proficiency in presenting and talking through creative work. Knowledge of digital, non-digital and integrated media, with ability to edit content for the web and a willingness to learn how to help manage digital content.
Preferred: Experience with a marketing agency and project management software. Knowledge of graphic arts is a plus.
Behaviors: Must have excellent written and oral skills and be able to interface with all levels of management. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain workflow amid often tight, changing deadlines. Strong attention to detail.
