Electrophysiology Cardiology Opening - Lafayette, IN - 60m to IndianapolisPosition Details

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Electrophysiology
  • Interested candidate will join a talented and extensive cardiology team in a practice which is currently experiencing significant growth.
  • Ideal candidate will have imaging experience, a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
  • Physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
  • Schedule: Monday โ€šร„รฌ Friday, 8:00 a.m. โ€šร„รฌ 5:00 p.m.; with hospital rotation 1:2
  • Imaging experience preferred
  • Average outpatient clinic volume: 18 โ€šร„รฌ 20 patients per day
  • Average inpatient volume: varies
  • State-of-the-art labs:
  • - Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system with GE recording system, with connectivity to perform cryoballoon cases as well
  • Procedures:
  • - Permanent Pacemaker implants - Pacemaker Lead extractions - Leadless Pacemaker implants - ICD implants - Left Atrial Appendage Closure - Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VT Cryoablation - Covergent procedures in collaboration with cardiovascular surgeonsQualifications:
  • Doctorate - Required
  • Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required - and -
  • Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
