Job description

Facet was founded in 2016 on the belief that objective, personalized financial advice is essential to living well. Our mission is to empower people to live more enriched lives by delivering a new standard of advice. By removing asset minimums, we provide holistic planning that goes far beyond investments to address every way money impacts life. Our team of CFP® professionals are at the core of our service and are empowered by our best-in-class support teams and proprietary technology platform. This model allows Facet to integrate advice into our members' entire financial picture-all for an affordable, flat membership fee.
Our commitment to innovation and member success has earned national recognition, including being ranked the #1 Best Financial Advisory Firm 2025 by USA TODAY and named to Newsweek's list of America's Top Financial Advisory Firms 2025. With an A+ BBB Rating and a Trustpilot "Excellent" score (as of Sept. 16, 2025)*, we are proud to be redefining the industry for our members and our team alike.
About the Role
Facet is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst with a strong background in financial modeling and economic analysis to maintain our financial model and update our financial plans and budgets. Reporting directly to the FP&A Director, you will play a critical role in translating large data sets into digestible insights, support future fundraising initiatives, and leverage modern AI-enabled tools to accelerate decision support. This is a critical, high-impact role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in changing an industry.
What You'll Do
Financial Modeling & Operations
  • Model Maintenance: Refine and maintain Facet's core company financial model, utilizing extensive financial modeling to translate complex operating models into a consolidated cash flow model.
  • Strategic ROI & Ad Hoc Analysis: Assist cross-functional teams with ad hoc financial analyses to evaluate ROI on key initiatives and directly inform overall business strategy.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Elevate financial reporting across the company by building KPI dashboards and creating monthly board presentations.
  • AI & Automation: Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate ad hoc analysis, reporting, and decision support.

Leadership & Analytics
  • Data Translation: Translate large, complex data sets into easily digestible analyses to present directly to management and the Board of Directors.
  • Thought Leadership: Work with the FP&A Director to provide strategic thought leadership and analysis that identifies meaningful trends and growth opportunities across the business.

Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven analytical experience in an FP&A, valuation, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic finance role.
  • Expert Financial Modeling: Expert-level financial modeling skills-specifically building three-statement financial models, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and cash flow models.
  • Education: BA/BS or Master's degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, economics, business, or a related discipline.
  • Transaction Experience: Previous buy-side or sell-side transaction experience is highly preferred.
  • Data Presentation & Storytelling: Experience presenting complex numbers in a consumable form, translating financial metrics into digestible graphic or narrative formats.
  • AI & Tech Savvy: Comfort leveraging AI and automation with a keen interest in continuously improving how finance operates.
  • Execution & Ownership: Detail-oriented with a proven ability to produce exceptional deliverables, work independently, and own projects end-to-end.
  • Project Management & Availability: Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, with the flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week and weekends as needed.
  • Growth Mindset: Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high motivation to learn about all aspects of a high-growth business.

Benefits
  • $100,000 - $125,000 base salary + bonus determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
  • Equity (ISOs): it is important to us that all employees are shareholders in our mission.
  • Flexible PTO
  • All the benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, short and long term disability coverage (paid by Facet), life insurance options, and paid parental leave.
  • Certification reimbursement program.
  • Work from anywhere in the US.
