Job description

We're seeking an experienced bilingual immigration paralegal (Spanish & English) to lead our immigration team. This role offers a unique opportunity to elevate your career in immigration law at a nationally recognized, award-winning firm known for its expertise and impact.

Position hours:

  • Full-time 8am-4pm
  • Monday – Friday
  • In person

Job Duties:

  • Independently and proactively manage high volume caseload in a fast-paced environment including document review, preparation, and filing of immigrant petitions with USCIS, EOIR & NVC from beginning to end.
  • USCIS and Department of State forms and handling various immigration processes, including FOIAs, I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864, I-601, I-601A waivers, U-Visa, DACA, TPS, and Consular processing
  • Meet with potential clients and prepare EOIR cases involving removal defense, motions for bonds, cancellation of removal and asylums
  • Monitor deadlines, appointments and expiration dates
  • Manage client communication and government correspondence
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Take special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Be flexible and available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Immigration law: 3 years as an immigration paralegal (Required)
