Summary of Position
Responsible for catalog and curriculum management, including maintaining and updating the college's new courses, existing courses and programs. Ensures academic programs align with state requirements and maintains the accuracy and integrity of curriculum and program information. Responsible for maintaining the college's degree audit system in collaboration with Academic Advising to ensure degree requirements and program information are current and accurate. Provides administrative and technical support related to curriculum, catalog, and academic records.
This position is expected to function independently, subject to minimal general direction and review.
Education and Experience
Associate Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required
  • Three years administrative experience.
  • Prefer experience with curriculum and catalog management, or course building, degree audit systems, and higher education student information systems such as Colleague.

Knowledge Skills and Ability
  • Knowledge of higher education administrative processes, including curriculum management, College Catalog maintenance, degree audit systems, and academic records.
  • Knowledge of information technology concepts and the ability to learn, support, and utilize enterprise systems such as Colleague and related academic software applications.
  • Ability to analyze, maintain, and interpret complex curriculum, catalog, and degree requirement information with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, administrators, and academic departments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to research and resolve complex system and data-related issues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision while supporting institutional goals.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide training, guidance, and support related to curriculum processes, College Catalog updates, and degree audit procedures.

Essential Functions
  • Manages the College Catalog, including coordinating updates, maintaining accuracy of course and program information, and ensuring approved curriculum changes are reflected appropriately.
  • Reviews and approves Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) forms for accuracy and ensures all course and program changes comply with state requirements.
  • In collaboration with the Dean and Associate Deans, coordinates the Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) process by preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, and tracking approved curriculum changes for implementation.
  • Serves as the college's liaison for the Colleague degree audit system, including developing, maintaining, testing, and updating coding, validation tables, and business rules to ensure accurate degree and certificate requirements.
  • Implements approved curriculum and program changes within the degree audit system and ensures alignment between the College Catalog, curriculum records, and degree audit requirements.
  • Collaborates with faculty, staff, administrators, and Enrollment Services to resolve complex curriculum, catalog, degree audit, and student records issues and provides training, guidance, and support related to degree audit processes and best practices.
  • Provides administrative and operational support for curriculum management, Institutional Effectiveness, Institutional Accountability, grant-related initiatives, and institutional strategic planning.
  • Creates reports and manages communications related to curriculum, the College Catalog, state requirements, and institutional policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
