Position Description: Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced general neurologist with a specific interest and expertise in managing concussion. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in neurology and have a strong background in diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions, with a focus on concussion and mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI). Along with our state-of-the-art facility, we also have a fully outfitted neuro rehab center on sight with a highly trained team of therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose patients with concussion, mTBI, and other general neurological conditions through comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, cognitive rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including autonomic neurology, headache neurology, allergy and immunology, physical/ occupational and speech therapists, and other specialists, to provide coordinated care to patients.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about concussion management, symptoms, and prevention strategies.
Participate in research initiatives related to concussion and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of neurology.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in neurology.
Fellowship training or equivalent experience in concussion management preferred.
Valid medical license and ability to practice medicine in the state of Utah.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
