Job description

  • Schedule: Multiple dates beginning from August to December 2026
  • Provider Type: Physician
  • Provider Specialty: GI Outpatient
  • Start & End Date: As early as 7:30AM & As late as 4:30PM to allow time for charting - half an hour lunch
  • Worksite Setting (clinic/hospital, inpatient/outpatient/both, # of beds): Outpatient
  • Work Schedule: No Call, Mon-Fri. at the Outpatient Center
  • Patient/Caseload Info: Around 14 - 16 procedures a day
  • Staff Info: Dedicated staff of CRNA, RN in each room, and a tech
  • ND license required. Will accept IMLC providers
  • Board Certified
  • Required Procedures/Skills : Colonoscopy's and EGD's - primarily for outpatient, Upper GI Endoscopy with; biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), and injection of varices. Esophageal dilation/manometry, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy; flexible. Colonoscopy with; biopsy and excision of polyp.
  • Is there any midlevel support? What does that look like? No midlevel support in outpatient setting
  • Will there be other doctors present? Or will the locum candidate generally be solo? There will typically be other doctors present.Become an ICON:
