Flexible Chevron Welding Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Responsible for maintaining records of financial transactions for multiple entities and providing internal assistance, including support to Controller.

Duties:

· Maintains A/R

· Maintains A/P

· Maintains general ledger accounts by monitoring account activity; reconciliations and supporting schedules.

· Summarizes activity, analyzes and prepares reports for management.

· Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

· Assists with cash accounts

· Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

· Verifies information, coordinates with various departments and posts transactions.

· Balances subsidiary accounts by identifying variances and, if necessary, reconciling entries.

· Maintains corporate and permanent files.

· Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks that are integral to, or requested of the accounting function to support the organization’s continued success.

· Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff

· Recommend and approve services for purchase

· Coordinate activities to ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between departments

· Confer with higher levels of management

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Strong attention to detail and very organized

· Ability to reconcile and problem solve

· Knowledge of accounting

· Ability to produce accurate reports within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects

· Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

· Good computer skills with knowledge of accounting software (Peachtree a plus)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· 7-10 years bookkeeping and accounting experience

· Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
