Position Overview

Flexibility Plus Rehab is seeking dedicated, compassionate Physical Therapists to join our team in Passaic, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, including a comprehensive benefits package. As a Physical Therapist with our organization, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Our multidisciplinary team provides board-certified Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy, and psychological services. We strive for excellence in all we do, dedicated to creating a collaborative and supportive environment that empowers our clients to achieve their goals.

Work Environment

Located in Passaic, New Jersey, our rehabilitation facility is designed to foster healing and recovery in a welcoming atmosphere. Our onsite setting allows for direct interactions with your colleagues and patients, encouraging teamwork and cohesive treatment approaches. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, offering a work-life balance while meeting the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential functions, including:

  • Conducting physical therapy evaluations for a diverse patient population, focusing on individual needs and challenges.
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting mobility, strength, and overall physical rehabilitation.
  • Regularly reassessing patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on objective clinical findings and patient feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation, including SOAP notes, progress reports, and care plans within our electronic record system, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Educating patients and families about the rehabilitation process, providing support and strategies to overcome challenges throughout their recovery journeys.
  • Meeting established utilization goals and contributing to other organizational objectives, aligning with our mission of high-quality care.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in other disciplines to provide comprehensive care for clients who are receiving multiple services within our facility.
  • Advocating for and embodying our company culture and core values, serving as a representative of our mission and vision.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges widely, including children and adults with various diagnoses and physical challenges. You will work with individuals from different backgrounds, ensuring a culturally responsive and inclusive approach to therapy. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, ensuring you have a solid foundational understanding of therapeutic principles.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure from the New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy, demonstrating your capacity to practice legally and ethically.
  • A willingness to provide evaluations and treatment both in-person and, if appropriate, via telehealth platforms to increase access to care.
  • A strong passion for working with a variety of patients, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a constantly changing healthcare landscape.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills, emphasizing collaboration across disciplines.
Preferred Experience

While not required, additional experience in specialized areas of physical therapy such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or sports rehabilitation will be considered beneficial. Familiarity with the latest therapeutic techniques and technology can enhance your effectiveness in the role.
