Position Overview

Flexibility Plus Rehab is seeking dedicated and compassionate physical therapists to join our team in Bayonne, New Jersey. As a full-time physical therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering effective care to our diverse patient population within the home care setting. You will be responsible for forming individualized treatment plans and improving your patients’ mobility and quality of life, while also fostering a supportive and enriching environment for their recovery journey.

Work Environment

This position is an onsite role primarily focused on providing home care services. You will work directly with clients in their own homes, allowing for a more personalized approach to therapy that can fit their specific lifestyle needs. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, providing a structured yet flexible work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for children and adults, assessing their physical capacities and rehabilitation needs.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's diagnosis and progress, ensuring targeted interventions.
• Regularly reassessing patients’ clinical signs and symptoms to monitor progress towards rehabilitation goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Documenting treatment sessions thoroughly and efficiently using our electronic record system, ensuring timely completion of SOAP notes, progress summaries, and care plans.
• Educating patients and their families about recovery processes, potential challenges, and proactive measures to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals and collaborating with other healthcare professionals within Flexibility Plus Rehab for clients with multi-faceted needs.
• Championing our organization's core values and culture, acting as an ambassador for our commitment to patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse client base, including children of varying developmental needs, adults recovering from surgery or injury, and seniors facing age-related challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with patients from various cultures, backgrounds, and medical histories, ensuring that our care is tailored and sensitive to their unique needs.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• A commitment to delivering evaluations and treatments in both in-person and telehealth formats when clinically appropriate.
• A genuine desire to work with a wide array of patients, embracing the diversity within our community.
• Flexibility and adaptability to navigate the dynamic nature of healthcare practices today.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to maintain a customer service-driven approach.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with previous experience in home care settings or those who have worked with specific patient populations such as pediatrics or geriatrics will have an advantage. Familiarity with telehealth platforms can also be beneficial in adapting treatment approaches in our evolving care landscape.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
