Job description

Wound Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized treatment for patients with acute and chronic wounds. You'll work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized care plans that promote healing and improve outcomes. Competitive Base + Quarterly Bonus Willing to travel up to 1 hour from home Locations Needing Help:

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing specialized wound care assessment, treatment, and management to patients with acute and chronic wounds
  • Perform detailed wound assessments and document findings in EHR
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in coordination with other providers
  • Provide advanced wound care: debridement, dressing changes, and closure techniques
  • Prescribe medications, order labs/imaging, and interpret results
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care best practices
  • Track healing progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Stay current on wound care research and participate in quality initiatives

Requirements:

  • Active State Medical License
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Wound Care (Preferred)
  • Ability to Travel up to 1 hour from home (set schedule of rounding at 1 facility per day)
