Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. At Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients within a state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot facility. Our center specializes in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy and caters predominantly to individuals with private medical insurance. As part of a collaborative team, which includes fellow physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will contribute to an environment that prioritizes holistic wellness and evidence-based practices.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position set within our modern rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a supportive and technologically equipped environment. Our facility boasts advanced sports medicine equipment, fostering an innovative atmosphere for patient rehabilitation. You will typically work a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions to set individualized treatment goals effectively.
• Manage a structured schedule, seeing approximately one patient per hour, to deliver focused therapy sessions.
• Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to patient-specific needs, promoting optimal recovery.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans using evidence-based interventions that prioritize patient safety and effectiveness.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, assessing the effects of treatment and adapting strategies as necessary.
• Promote wellness through patient education, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care and to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed on the latest physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work closely with a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking to regain mobility after surgery or injury. Your role will be crucial in minimizing pain, promoting independence, and reducing the necessity for invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current certification and licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean record without any board measures or disciplinary actions against your professional license.

Preferred Experience

• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a strong foundation in physical therapy practice.
• Experience in developing tailored exercise regimens that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software platforms, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
