Job description

Security Officer - Distribution Flex

Weekly Pay

Hourly Pay: $19.15 Plus H&W $5.55

Multiple Positions - Flex (Per diem)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
  • Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
  • Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
  • Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
  • Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
  • This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
  • You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
  • Train in multiple locations and cover when needed.
  • Be adaptable to schedule changes
  • Have availability to work more than two shifts to cover where the operator needs you to be scheduled depending on coverage needs.

Qualifications:

  • 21+ years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Must have a valid NYS Security License
  • Must have overnight availability
  • Capable of following complex instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
